What is CastNest?
CastNest is an all-in-one video streaming platform. It handles live broadcasting, multistreaming to 30+ platforms, on-demand video hosting, monetization, security and analytics from a single dashboard, so you do not need to assemble several separate tools.
How many platforms can I stream to at the same time?
CastNest supports more than 30 destinations including YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Kick and Rumble, plus custom RTMP endpoints. How many you can connect depends on your plan: 6 on Starter, 10 on Growth, 20 on Premium and 30 on Studio and Events.
Do I need special software or hardware to stream?
Use a compatible RTMP encoder such as OBS Studio, which is free. Copy the ingest URL and stream key from CastNest into your encoder. SRT ingest is available from Growth. IP camera connections require a supported stream URL and any necessary credentials.
Can I try CastNest before paying?
There is no permanent free tier, but Starter comes with a 7-day free trial that needs no card. Paid plans start at $19.99 a month for 6 destinations, 200 GB of player bandwidth and 100 GB of storage.
Does streaming to more platforms use more of my internet connection?
No. You upload one stream to CastNest and the replication to every destination happens in our cloud. Two destinations or thirty, your encoder sends exactly one feed.
Can I make money from my streams?
Yes. In-stream advertising is included from Growth upwards, and the paywall — pay-per-view and subscriptions — from Premium upwards. Payments run through your own connected account, so the revenue and the viewer relationship stay with you.
Can I remove CastNest branding from the player?
Yes, from the Growth plan upwards. The badge is removed and player customization is unlocked on the same tier, so the player carries your colors and logo rather than ours.
How secure are streams on CastNest?
Password protection is included on every plan. Domain allowlisting, country-level geo-blocking and secure expiring tokens are included from Premium upwards. Combine these controls to restrict access according to your requirements.
